Job Description
Elevation HR are currently working with a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Scunthorpe as they appoint a HR Generalist to manage their HR function on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a standalone, pure generalist HR role and you will be responsible for developing the current HR set up including the employee lifecycle, employee relations and recruitment. This fully onsite role offers a fantastic development opportunity with progression to becoming the sites HR Manager, day to day your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting or taking the lead on Employee Relation matters including investigations, disciplinaries and grievance matters
* Management of the recruitment process both directly and through maintaining relationships with agencies
* Processing of new starters and leavers; completing right to work checks, creating offer letters, contracts and new starter packs, and communicating these with the payroll department
* Advising supervisors and managers on employment law
* Update and maintain employee personnel files and databases, ensuring audit standards are met
* Monthly KPI reporting prepared promptly for board meetings.
* Monitor maternity, paternity, adoptive or parental leave, ensuring relevant communication is given in a timely manner

The right person for this HR Generalist role will have the following attributes:
* At least 2 years' experience in a HR Advisor role or above, preferably in an FMCG/Manufacturing/Logistics/Distribution environment
* Ideally you will be CIPD qualified
