Job Overview
We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer with previous hands-on experience in a multi-skilled / Fit-Out / M&E role, strong engineering skills, and an eye for detail. As part of the Fit-Out team, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and quality assurance of mechanical and electrical systems throughout the build process. This role offers the chance to work with one of the world's most luxurious brands.
Duties
* Install mechanical and/or electrical components in accordance with the build sequence and project specifications
* Conduct thorough testing of electrical circuits; identify, diagnose, and resolve faults to ensure system functionality and compliance
* Perform fault-finding and corrective actions on both mechanical and electrical systems
* Install and commission air conditioning systems as required
* Carry out laminating tasks, when necessary, in line with project needs
* Mentor and support new employees at the same or lower grade, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
* Complete all critical compliance checks and documentation within the boat file
* Tackle challenges head-on, adapting to overcome build obstacles and improve efficiency
Candidate Requirements
* Previous hands-on experience in a multi-skilled / Fit-Out / M&E role or similar
* Level 3 qualification in electrical / mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
* Strong engineering skills with an eye for detail and flawless finish
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information
* Team player, ready to contribute to any boat build
