About the Role
* Responsible for achieving business goals when it comes to Health, Safety and Environment in Production Assembly area, adherence to product and production process design and best practice, production output and efficiency, continuous development of production staff, including recruitment, training, retention, promotion, and disciplinary issues.
* Manage and evaluate people resources to ensure productivity and reaching business targets related to H, S, E, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
* Oversee a workforce of 80+ employees in the Assembly department.
* Responsibility to ensure that all products are assembled in accordance with the standard work instructions and meet the required quality standards.
* Strive to reduce costs and increase productivity across all product lines.
* Ensure that your department operates in compliance with Keeler quality systems and passes all regulatory on‑site inspections.
* Communicate production goals and actual results to employees across Assembly department.
* Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees.
* Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management.
* Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
* Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels.
* Support Technical Service Team in repairing customers products in the agreed Time scales.
About You
* Inclusive leadership style.
* Manufacturing experience from a wide range of disciplines; assembly, casting, machining, moulding, PCBA etc.
* Expert knowledge of Keeler products and assembly operations.
* Competent ERP User experience.
* Team management experience – enthusiastic, energetic, well organized.
* Team builder and developer.
* Able to build, and guide development of relationships both internally and externally.
