Role Overview
SimplifyVMS is an industry leading VMS redefining vendor management through an AI-first, modern, and disruptive platform. We are looking for a highly driven VMS Solutions & Sales Consultant who can combine prospecting, consultative selling, and solution design to drive growth.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-evolving environment, understands the workforce/VMS ecosystem, and can leverage AI-driven thinking to solve complex customer problems.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging prospects, and translating business needs into impactful SimplifyVMS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
* Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities across target markets
* Build and manage a strong pipeline through:
* Outbound prospecting
* Networking and referrals
* Strategic account targeting
* Engage decision-makers across procurement, HR, and workforce management functions
Consultative Selling & Solutioning
* Understand customer challenges in:
* Vendor Management Systems (VMS)
* Contingent workforce management
* Procurement and staffing operations
* Translate business requirements into tailored SimplifyVMS solutions
* Conduct discovery sessions, demos, and solution presentations
* Partner with product/engineering teams to align solutions with client needs
AI-First Mindset & Innovation
* Leverage AI-driven approaches to:
* Improve prospecting effectiveness
* Enhance solution positioning
* Drive data-backed decision making
* Stay ahead of market trends in:
* AI in workforce management
* Automation in procurement and VMS
* Act as a thought partner to clients on modern, AI-enabled transformation
Deal Execution & Outcomes
* Own and drive deals from initial engagement to closure
* Deliver against revenue targets and pipeline goals
* Maintain strong focus on:
* Conversion rates
* Sales cycle efficiency
* Customer outcomes
Customer & Market Engagement
* Build strong relationships with prospects and clients
* Provide insights into:
* Industry trends
* Competitive positioning
* Product improvements
* Represent SimplifyVMS in client meetings, demos, and industry forums
Required Qualifications
* 5–7 years of experience in:
* VMS / workforce management solutions
* SaaS sales or solutions consulting
* Proven track record in:
* Prospecting and closing deals
* Consultative selling in B2B environments
* Strong understanding of:
* Contingent workforce ecosystem
* Procurement / staffing workflows

* Strong solutioning and storytelling ability
* Excellent communication and client engagement skills
* Ability to translate complex problems into simple, scalable solutions
