**Industrial Engineer Role Overview**
The ideal candidate for this position is a highly skilled and analytical professional with a strong background in industrial engineering. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient systems and processes.
This role requires a deep understanding of mathematical and scientific models to optimise production methods. The successful candidate will be able to develop management control systems for efficient financial planning and lead production management capacity and inventory management.
You will also be expected to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) indicators, create a digital twin of the manufacturing facilities, gather automation and new technology requirements from Manufacturing, and lead planning, scheduling, coordination, and dispatch policies.
In addition, you will collect data on processes and production through observations, time studies, and more.
To excel in this role, you will need to have a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. A computer science background or experience in Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma green belt would be beneficial.
Key skills required for this position include an analytical approach to data, strong communication and presentation abilities, and advanced IT skills (O365, Databases). Knowledge of manufacturing/supply chain processes and systems is essential.
The ideal candidate will also possess desirable skills such as coding languages (Python, .Net, C), advanced manufacturing processes, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and cybersecurity and compliance.
