We are seeking to recruit a decicated and experienced Teaching Assistant on behalf of a lovely junior school in Burton-On-Trent (DE14). This position is due to begin in June 2024 and has the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate Working hours are 8:45-3:25 Monday-Friday. Roles and responsibilities: Support the class teacher in the management of Year 4 pupils Work on a 1:1 and group intervention basis as directed by the class teacher Provide regular feedback on pupil progression Contribute to pupils formative and summative assessment Promote the school's vision and values Implement behaviour management strategies Work with pupils with Special Educational Needs when directed Requirements: A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable Experience of working with individuals with SEN is essential Experience of working in a school setting is desirable Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Be able to provide x2 satisfactory references Why work with Progress Teachers?
