Priory Hospital Llanarth Court is looking to recruit a Workforce Coordinator to join the team. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
Priory Hospital Llanarth Court, located in the rural area of Usk, Monmouthshire, offers secure services for adult males and females. We provide a specialist assessment and treatment service for people with mental health conditions who present with a variety of behaviours that challenge.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
As an example of day to day you will:
* Manage and update the Priory internal rostering system for all hospital wards
* Liaise with Ward Managers to roster permanent staff 8-12 weeks in advance, including holidays and training
* Prioritize filling vacancies with overtime, bank staff, then temporary agencies as needed
* Support Ward Managers to ensure safe and effective staffing levels
* Communicate roster changes efficiently to ward teams and maintain app-based shift promotion

We’re looking for a proactive candidate, ideally with experience in roster management, though it’s not essential. Healthcare experience is a plus. The role requires someone comfortable working independently and thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with a proven ability to manage their own workload effectively.
