Job Role : Security Guard
Hours: Night Shift 6pm - 6am, 4 Days on 4 Days off.
Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and surveillance, ensuring that all security protocols are adhered to effectively.
Duties
* Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
* Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
* Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary until professional help arrives.
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
* Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations as necessary.
* Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and offering assistance while enforcing security policies.
Requirements
* Proven experience in loss prevention or security roles is preferred.
* Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
* Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
* Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A valid security licence may be required depending on local regulations.
