Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location:
South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes
Salary:
£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour
Job Duties:
* - Provide specialised educational support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
* - Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
* - Deliver engaging lessons and activities tailored to support SEN students in achieving academic goals
* - Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
* - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for SEN students
Required Qualifications:
* - A relevant teaching qualification
* - Experience working with students with special educational needs
* - Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
* - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
* - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
* - Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
* - Understanding of SEN legislation and policies
* - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
* - Excellent planning and organisational skills
* - Patience and empathy in working with SEN students
Preferred Qualifications:
* - Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
* - Experience in using assistive technology to support SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
