Reeson Education are actively looking to recruit a Assistant Swimming Instructor for a large SEN client school based in Barking. They work with a broad range of SEN(D) needs from Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Assistant Swimming Instructor - Role details:
16. Support students with special needs in and around the Swimming Pool
17. Manage behaviours using positive strategies
18. Supervise students getting in and out of pool and in changing areas
19. Set up and tidy away swimming floats/resources
20. Support the Swimming teacher in delivering sessions
21. Encourage pupils to get in and out of Pool between sessions to ensure timetable runs on time
22. Working as a team to ensure every child progresses and enjoys their swimming!!
The pool is warm. The kids absolutely love their swimming so this is a job for someone positive and fun-loving!
No previous SEN experience needed, some experience as a TA or a Sports Coach would be great!
