The showroom sales consultant will provide design inspiration, sales and support for our tile and bathroom products to our customers. You will play an integral part in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of customer service and will be a key player with helping to drive our company forward. Key responsibilities: Identifying and assisting customers with product selection. A commitment to high standards of customer service. Deal with all retail purchases and enquires relating to our Tile and Bathroom products. Following up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service, and converting into successful sales Establishing customer contact, arranging appointments and visits to the showroom, and proactively developing new sales opportunities Providing customers with a detailed and agreed specification and quotation based on their requirements. Maintain and build relationships with customers. Continually update your knowledge of products by participating in company and supplier training to achieve department sales targets. General housekeeping of the department to ensure all products are adequately stocked in a clean and presentable manner. Cash handling, operation of counter tills and computer system. Work within other departments as requested to meet customer demands. Participate in company stock takes ensuring an accurate count of all stock. Ensure compliance with all regularity and legal requirements. Any other tasks as required to ensure the efficient operation of the department as requested by the Branch Manager.
