The Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across a range of needs, helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment. You’ll be part of a collaborative SEND team, making a real difference to children’s daily experiences and long-term progress.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with autism and additional needs
2. Assist with the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons across learning pathways
3. Support pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
4. Promote independence and resilience in line with the school’s values
5. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to provide joined-up support
6. Contribute to behaviour support strategies and positive reinforcement
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you:
7. Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
8. Have prior experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally autism and complex needs
9. Are patient, adaptable, and empathetic with a proactive approach
10. Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues
11. Share a commitment to inclusion and removing barriers to learning
