Responsibilities
:
1. Conductprehensive enhanced due diligence investigations on high-risk clients, including politically exposed persons, clients from high-risk jurisdictions, andplex corporate structures in accordance with internal policies and desktop procedures.
2. Research and analyse beneficial ownership structures to identify ultimate beneficial owners and control relationships.
3. Evaluate source of wealth and source of funds information for high-net-worth individuals and entities using the public domain and/or documentation.
4. Perform adverse media screening and analyse findings to assess reputational and financial crime risks.
5. Prepare detailed, well-documented enhanced due diligence reports with clear risk assessments and rmendations and present these to senior management.
6. Liaise with relationship managers and business units to gather additional client information.
7. Identify potential suspicious activities and escalate concerns through appropriate channels.
8. Participate in special projects related to regulatory changes, remediation efforts, or process enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience:
9. Bachelor's degree or higher with a major or concentration in Finance, Law, Accounting, or Information Systems, etc, orparable work experience in a related field.
10. Minimum of 3 years' experience and familiarity, preferably gained in brokerage or corporate banking environment, with on-boarding or reviewing high risk client relationships and carrying out EDD.
11. Relevant financial crime qualification ICA or ACAMS are a must.
12. Excellent written and oralmunication skills in English.
13. Strong research, investigatory, and problem-solving skills.
14. Ability to make risk-based rmendations and articulate those persuasively to other departments.
15. Prior experience in a highly automated environment and/or high degree offort withputers and technology.
16. Intermediate experience with MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
17. Ability to work, keep deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
