Garage Door Service Engineer – Join the Doormatic Team
Salary: £29,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: South East (Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire, London) – travel required
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am start (or 8:00am on-site)

Doormatic Garage Doors is one of the South East’s leading garage door specialists, known for our high-quality products, professional installations, and outstanding customer service. Due to continued growth, we're expanding our engineering team and looking for a Garage Door Service & Repair Engineer to join us.
Whether you're an experienced garage door engineer or someone with a strong practical background eager to learn, we want to hear from you.
The Role
You'll report to either the Installations Manager or Servicing Manager, depending on your experience and the team's needs:

Installation Role: Fitting a wide range of manual and electric garage doors across residential properties, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Service & Repair Role: Diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and servicing various types of domestic garage doors, including up-and-over, roller, sectional, and side-hinged doors.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants with previous garage door fitting experience, but we’re also happy to train individuals with strong transferable skills (e.g. carpentry, joinery, mechanical/electrical fitting, or other hands-on trades).

A clean UK driving licence (max 6 points)
