Job Title: Structure QC Inspector

Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Structure QC Inspector to ensure structural components, fabrication, and erection activities comply with quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in international codes, standards (like AWS, ASME, ISO), and structural inspection methodologies with hands-on experience in heavy steel structures or industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct quality inspections for structural steel fabrication, welding, erection, and assembly as per approved drawings and specifications.
* Review WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), PQRs (Procedure Qualification Records), and welder qualifications.
* Monitor welding processes, consumables, and environmental conditions.
* Inspect raw materials and finished products using tools such as measuring tapes, UT/RT gauges, micrometers, etc.
* Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues.
* Issue and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA).
* Maintain proper documentation for inspections, test reports, and material traceability.
* Liaise with third-party inspectors and client representatives for joint inspections and approvals.
* Ensure all activities comply with relevant safety and quality standards.
* Participate in audits and assist in continuous improvement of quality systems.
Essential Qualifications:
* Diploma or Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Certified as CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or equivalent (preferred).
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Skills & Competencies Required:
* In-depth knowledge of structural drawings, specifications, and standards.
* Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and quality control procedures.
* Familiar with NDT methods such as VT, UT, PT, and RT.
* Good command over inspection documentation and reporting.
* Attention to detail, strong observation, and analytical skills.
* Effective communication and coordination abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and in site conditions.
