Here at our Head Office in Bolton, the People Services team play a vital role in providing the best possible experience for our people across our business in the delivery of support and solutions across the employee lifecycle.
We operate a hybrid working model with a balance of home and office working.
Essential Ingredients
* Experience of providing people related transactional support in a busy environment.
* Good knowledge of Employment law.
* General knowledge of all aspects of a People function with a good level of expertise in handling first line enquiries relating to policies, procedures and processes.
* Ability to manage a diverse workload.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* A willingness to take the initiative, to identify new opportunities and challenge established ways of doing things. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
The Recipe
As part of the People function at Warburtons, the People Services Advisor opportunity will be a busy and varied role and you will be providing an administrative service to our people, in line with our people policies and services expectations.
Your excellent communication skills, pro-active style, and keen eye for detail, will go a long way towards ensuring you excel in this role, combined with an ability to efficiently and effectively manage your own workload and time.
Relationship building is key as the People Services Advisor, and you’ll be able to establish credibility with both internal and external contacts at all levels

Did you know there are two bakery sites in Bolton (Bolton & Variety), a distribution hub, a newly built Innovation Centre, Test Bakery, and our Head Office? We have approximately 480 colleagues working across Bolton and Variety manufacturing and distribution.
We produce 1.5 million units per week, across 5 automated lines that bake our delicious fresh bread, crumpets, bagels, morning goods and muffins which is delivered daily to our customers across the UK.
As ‘the UK’s No. 1 Bakery Brand’ we have been baking bread since 1876. Today, we are proudly a sixth-generation family business, supplying over 18,000 retail customers from 11 bakeries and 16 depots, producing a range of over 70 products, including gluten and wheat free.
