History Teacher - Chichester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long-Term until December 2025 (with potential to become permanent)
Pay: £160 - £240 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm | Full-Time

Position Overview:
Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Chichester from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role through to December 2025, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, working within a supportive and collaborative Humanities department. This opportunity is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators. Applications from unqualified teachers or non-specialists with relevant experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons tailored to a range of learning needs
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports high standards of learning and behaviour
* Participate in school life, including extracurricular activities and events

What We're Looking For:
* A degree in History or a closely related subject (essential)
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
* Experience teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A passion for History and inspiring young learners
