Role Overview:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support students with diverse needs, contributing to an inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.
Requirements:
* Experience working with students with SEND is advantageous.
* A caring and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to student well-being and development.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
* Flexibility to work on short-term or long-term assignments as required.
* Understanding of various SEND conditions and ability to adapt strategies accordingly.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students with SEND, individually or in small groups.
* Adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized education plans.
* Assist in modifying curriculum materials for accessibility.
* Build strong relationships with students to promote confidence and engagement.
* Support classroom management and behavior strategies.
* Create a safe and inclusive environment.
* Maintain records of student progress and communicate updates to staff.

All pay rates include holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles in the future. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding children and conducts necessary checks, including DBS verification. We offer free safeguarding and Prevent Duty training. All candidates must have a valid DBS check or be registered with the DBS Update Service.
