Join a Leading CNC Machinery Team as a Mechanical Service Engineer - UK
Our client, a respected distributor of world-class CNC machine tools, is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their growing and well-regarded team. You'll provide expert support across the UK working on high-end CNC machinery for a diverse customer base.
What You'll Be Doing:
Mechanical servicing, maintenance, and breakdown support for CNC machine tools
Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
Ball screw and linear guide replacement
Spindle exchanges and gib adjustment/scraping
CNC machine installations including geometrics and alignments
What You'll Need:
Essential:
Qualifications in mechanical engineering or maintenance disciplines
Strong hands-on experience working with CNC machine tools - especially lathes and machining centres
Confident in tasks such as servicing, mechanical repairs, fault diagnosis, and machine alignmentDesirable:
Experience with Fanuc and/or Okuma control systems
Background in scraping, alignment checks, and precision installations
