Since our journey began in 2011, The Coffee House has blossomed into a thriving enterprise, with our Warehouse, Production Kitchen, and Bakery proudly supplying over 36 stores and counting. We are seeking a passionate Trainee Bread Baker to join our talented team who hold a collective of 80 years experience.
At The Coffee House, quality is our signature. Our expertly crafted breads, made fresh daily, are a testament to our dedication to excellence. With an array of traditional and innovative recipes, you'll have the chance to create a variety of delicious loaves that our customers love. Our bakery is equipped with cutting-edge tools and technology, ensuring you have everything you need to produce exceptional breads consistently.
This position requires a commitment of five days a week over seven, with hours between 3AM to 11AM. Driver with access to your own vehicle will be essential for these hours.

Key Responsibilities;
* This role is to assist in the production of high quality and large volumes of baking products for our stores across the North of England. Using ingredients which are sourced from local and independent suppliers who support the local economy but also ensure we receive fresh, high quality produce.
* You must be able to work well under pressure, produce work to the highest of standards and have an eye for detail and quality.
* Health and Safety is paramount, and must be adhered to at all times,
* You will be responsible for measuring and weighing ingredients.
* Inspecting bakery items to ensure that established standards on quality, uniformity and aesthetic appeal.
* Responsible for safe food preparation and service, the correct storage & labelling of ingredients and produce bakery goods to the recipe specifications provided.
* To be a good communicator within the business.
* Clean thoroughly always and ensure routine cleaning is completed
* To use all the systems, policies and processes set out by the company.
The person:
* The ability to stand for long periods of time as the role is physically demanding, kneading and mixing.
* Passion for quality baking.
* Great attention to detail.
* Ability to work well within a team.
* Available to work within the hours of 3am - 11am 5 days out of 7.
* Driver with own car is a must due to the working hours.
