Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an agile, goal-oriented Key Account Executive (UK-based) to drive our growth across Europe. You should have several years of organizational sales experience within the healthcare, medical IT, Pharma, or Biotech sectors, with a strong track record in software-based solutions and related services. As the ideal candidate, you are an excellent negotiator and communicator, extremely proactive, and successful in building relationships and developing business. The Account Executive enjoys working in a fast-growing market, and frequently travels internationally to visit clients and to represent Aiforia at exhibitions and trade shows. Lead generation comes from a healthy balance of targeted prospecting, leads from marketing and trade shows, and by growing existing customer accounts. While these leads often start as small footprints, you will evolve them into expansive, multi-year agreements.
In this role, you will be an important member of our global sales team and will closely cooperate with your own teammates, as well as colleagues from the science and development departments to achieve joint success in the field of Aiforia's artificial intelligence‑based image processing applications and services.
As an Account Executive your main duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Manage and execute direct and indirect sales of Aiforia’s solution and services in the clinical, preclinical and research business verticals across the European market, with a primary focus on the UK and Ireland.
* Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
* Maintain and document sales activities in CRM and forecasting.
* Conduct strategic account planning.
* Manage relationships with KOLs, customers, and sales channel partners.
* Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Aiforia products and technologies, competitive products, and industry trends.
* Report to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of sales experience in digital pathology, medical image analysis, or healthcare IT (LIS, IMS)
* Proven track record in international sales, with experience in managing territories across Europe.
* High touch account management and value-based sales experience in a complex environment.
* Understanding of cloud-based applications and services.
* Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales goals and targets.
* Extensive client relationships in healthcare or medical research.
