Teaching, Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) Administrator – School of Engineering
Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) Administrator within the Information, Advice and Guidance team in the School of Engineering. This 12‑month fixed‑term contract is a full‑time role involving 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Respond to student queries face to face and electronically through the Student Support Hub.
* Plan and coordinate Welcome Week timetabling and events.
* Administer summer internships, the Student Experience and Society budget, and event organisation.
* Prepare and distribute newsletters and bulletins, manage social media, and organise graduation receptions and prizes.
* Administer the Student Voice Committee, academic advisor data entry, and maintain the Virtual Hub.
* Supervise staff and ensure all tasks are undertaken efficiently.
* Coordinate work activities, communicate effectively and contribute to decision‑making, problem‑solving, and issue resolution.
* Work flexibly, alone or as part of a team, and liaise with academic colleagues, university services and external stakeholders.
The role offers a hybrid working option; however, as a student‑facing position you will be required to work on campus for a minimum of three days per week, with additional on‑site days as needed.
