We are on the hunt for a skilled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team based in Portsmouth. You will be working on-site as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting employees with their musculoskeletal health. What you will do
* Deliver accurate clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for employees with musculoskeletal injuries or disorders.
* Classify musculoskeletal disorders in terms of work-relatedness and provide reports to management detailing employee fitness, including necessary job adjustments.
* Lead exercise classes aimed at rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries.
* Collaborate effectively with the broader occupational health team to maintain exceptional service delivery.
* Conduct Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments, providing advice and making equipment recommendations as necessary.
* Identify workplace hazards that could affect musculoskeletal health and conduct ergonomic risk assessments alongside safety and health advisors.
* Drive the effective rehabilitation of staff with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not.
Qualifications / Requirements / Person Specification (if present)
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* At least 4 years of post-graduate experience, with 2 years in musculoskeletal care.
* Comfortable with IT systems and proficient in relevant software.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Customer-focused, efficient, and highly organised.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Post-graduate training in Occupational Health or Ergonomics.
* Membership in professional bodies such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) or the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE).
