The Role
As an Assistant General Manager, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.
Responsibilities include:
* Creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent within your team.
* Ensuring all guests feel valued and cared for, reflecting exceptional service through your efforts and equipping your team with the necessary skills and mindset.
* Driving sales through your team by creating challenging and achievable targets, supporting the general manager with budgeting, inventory management, labour management, and strategic marketing. Understanding the business and local area to support commercial decisions.
* Being a forward-thinking problem solver, able to think quickly and make decisions on the spot.
* Understanding your team’s needs, recognizing what motivates them, and supporting their growth and career development.
