The ideal candidate will have previous HR administration experience, with an understanding of confidentiality and data protection, diversity, equality & inclusivity (DEI) and a genuine interest in building and supporting a high performance culture through effective learning and development programmes and good employee relations.
Reporting into the HR Manager, the focus of this role is to support the HR department to provide an effective, people-focused and professional approach to all employees across the Gekko Group.
Your Package
* A salary of £26,000 plus company bonus

Your role
* Working alongside the Recruitment team to support the introduction of new staff including reference checks
* Coordinating on-boarding experiences for new starters
* Assist with review and update of company policies and procedures
* Monitoring and evolving Personal Development Plans for all employees
* Recording and monitoring staff absence and analysing trends
* Communicating and administering benefit schemes to employees and providers
* Assist and facilitate Learning and Development activities
What you’ll bring
* Your best self and an open mind, you’re a ‘people’ person with great interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in using Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office suite
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage and support people at all levels
* An ability to prioritise along with an adaptable approach to meet deadlines
* A genuine interest in developing in the area of HR, especially within business partnering and employee relations
* CIPD level 3 would be a real bonus
