Family Support Outreach Worker (Solihull Schools) Band E Points 27 to 33 (£38,220 to £44,075 pro-rata) Actual Salary £32,766 - £37,786 Full time, term time only (39 weeks) Fixed term contract for 12 months We are seeking to appoint an experienced member of staff who can co-ordinate off-site directions and managed moves on behalf of schools working in partnership across Solihull. This is a temporary appointment for 12 months which could be a secondment opportunity where appropriate. The FSOW will be responsible for working in partnership with all secondary settings in Solihull as well as schools across the border to support pupils at risk of permanent exclusion and those struggling to attend their current provision. The role includes responsibility for developing positive relationships with school staff and families so that appropriate placements are made which are in the best interests of vulnerable pupils. Along with securing successful placements, the FSOW will monitor and track off-site directions, providing early intervention and maintaining accurate records accessible to all partnering schools.
