Your Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring quality nursing care for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering exceptional nursing care by following physician’s orders and adhering to state and federal regulations.
* Administering medications as prescribed and in accordance with facility policies.
* Leading and supervising nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure high standards of care.
* Assisting physicians during rounds and providing support during examinations and treatments.
* Performing scheduled treatments and maintaining accurate documentation.
* Upholding infection control measures and cleanliness standards.
* Contributing to research aimed at enhancing nursing care quality.
* Assisting with the admission process and ensuring timely scheduling of annual physicals.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
* Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current, valid RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
* Genuine interest in geriatric nursing and a commitment to providing quality care.
* CPR certification (renewed annually).
* Willingness to participate in in-service training and staff meetings.
* Strong leadership skills to supervise nursing assistants effectively.
* Dependable, flexible, and able to collaborate with diverse teams.
* Sound decision-making skills, understanding the impact of nursing errors on patient care.
