Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Evening/Weekend Care Assistant to join our team in Brighton, United Kingdom.
As an Evening/Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and care to our clients in their homes during the evening hours.
1. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
2. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary requirements
3. Perform light housework to maintain a clean and safe living environment
4. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
5. Accompany clients to evening appointments or social activities when required
6. Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
7. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being
8. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
9. Collaborate with other care team members to ensure continuity of care
10. Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary
Qualifications
To work for us, you must:
11. Have the Right to Work in UK
12. Hold a full UK Driving Licence and own transport (if applicable)
13. Consent to an enhanced DBS check
14. Be over 18

You will be a special sort of person with:
16. Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature
17. Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
19. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
20. Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
21. Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
22. Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (preferred)
23. Flexibility to work evenings and or weekends
24. Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
25. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
26. Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
