The Senior Lecturer position is offered by the University of Gloucestershire. Candidates will contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the Architecture programme, including the technical and theoretical contexts of their expertise, and act as Professional Studies Advisor. In addition, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop and lead a new "Year Out" Professional Experience course as Academic Course Leader (ACL), requiring handsâ€'on practical design teaching in studio.
Responsibilities
* Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including technical and theoretical instruction across Architecture courses.
* Provide hands‑on practical design instruction in studio environments.
* Develop and lead the new Professional Experience "Year Out" course, acting as Academic Course Leader.
* Contribute to curriculum design and assessment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practice.
Qualifications
* Experienced architect or senior lecturer/lecturer in Higher Education, with a strong record of professional practice.
* Deep knowledge of employability, industry awareness, contemporary industry practices and current teaching pedagogy in architecture.
* Evidence of successful leadership or course management experience within higher education.

Salary
£38,784 to £56,536 per annum, Grade 7/8.
