Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the daily lives of our residents, ensuring their personal care needs are met with dignity and respect, and promoting their independence.
* Help residents with everyday personal care routines- such as getting washed and dressed, using the bathroom, and mealtimes - ensuring they feel comfortable and respected.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, creating a warm and caring atmosphere
* Support residents to maintain their independence and dignity at all times
* Help residents with mobility, including the use of mobility aids where required
* Participate in social activities and engage residents in meaningful interactions
* Record and report any changes in residents' condition to senior staff
* Maintain accurate care records in accordance with company policies
* Ensure residents' rooms and communal areas are kept clean and welcoming
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. New entrants to the sector will be considered as full training will be provided.
* A genuine desire to care for others and make a positive impact on their lives.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
* A respectful and compassionate approach towards residents.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
