Responsibilities
* Ensure materials are processed to achieve maximum margin on sellable recyclables
* Audit the plant and employees for quality, quantity, housekeeping, safety conformance, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and utilisation of resources to ensure maximum effectiveness and to continuously improve all aspects of our health, safety, and environmental performance when required.
* Enforce and monitor safety rules and practises to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and ensure employees are knowledgeable about any potential or known hazards and take all necessary precautions
* Inspect work area and equipment for deficiencies, hazards, and malfunctions. Report all discrepancies and any unsafe act or working condition to Management.
* Control the acceptance, storing, and loading of MRF materials to ensure compliance with the site permit
* Report and respond to plant emergencies, as required
What are we looking for?
* Essential: Similar operational manual handling experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Good Mathematical skills and analysing ability
* Desirable: Quality control experience

Location & Benefits
Salary - £27,144.00 plus Veolia benefits. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm. Location: Based at Mansfield Material Recovery Facility (MRF), NG19 0FL.
