Key Responsibilities As an experienced, qualified employment solicitor, you will play a vital role in advising and representing clients on a broad spectrum of employment law matters. Whether working with individuals or businesses, you will offer expert guidance in navigating complex employment-related issues that may arise in the workplace. This will include advisory services, drafting legal documents, and advocacy. Contracts of employment and service agreements. Employee handbooks. Discrimination and equality, and internal investigations. Employee and HR rights, including grievances and disciplinary procedures Redundancy processes and restructuring Advice on TUPE matters and Boardroom issues. Termination of employment and unfair dismissal cases, and tribunal advice Understand workplace rights and employers' aiming to ensure legal compliance. Drafting and reviewing legal documents. These may include: Employment contracts and policies Settlement agreements Non-compete clauses and confidentiality agreements Disciplinary and grievance procedures documentation Represent clients in disputes before employment tribunals, courts, or during arbitration and mediation.
