Job Title: Planning, Monitoring & Control Manager

Salary: From £56,000 dependant on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
1. Management of a multi discipline team
2. Leading and managing the production of various progress reports, including build review packs & milestone evidence packs, for presentation to senior management and the customer
3. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all enablers are aligned with the build schedule
4. Problem solving with key stakeholders when enablers are not aligned with the build schedule to mitigate any potential delay
5. Supervisory responsibilities and providing information/technical direction and guidance
6. Responsible for coaching members of the team, monitoring their quality of work and contributing to performance management
Your skills and experiences:
Essential: Project Management Qualification or equivalent by experience, Previous experience in leading a high performing team, Proficient with MS packages, in particular Excel
Desirable: Experience working in a Defence / Manufacturing / Trade background, CILT / APICS Training

The Central Yard Facility (CYC) PP&C Enablement team:
As part of the PP&C enablement team within a brand-new facility (CYC), you will be collaborating closely with stakeholders from a variety of functions with the aim of progressing work orders through the system of work and onto the shop floor for execution. This is a team that works in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to see physical progress as the Dreadnought unit’s progress through the build cycle. There are opportunities to learn and develop your skills within the PP&C enablement team while being surrounded by knowledgeable people who can further develop you in Project Management and Dreadnought Build.
