Accommodation Brokerage Officer (Adults) ** We are seeking several Accommodation Brokerage Officers for a local authority client in Bedford. The Council's Adult Services is piloting an Accommodation Brokerage Hub to centralise the sourcing of supported living, residential, and nursing placements. The hub will handle placement requests from operational teams and work with providers to secure the best value options. We are seeking two Brokerage Officers to support this pilot. Initially, you will work with the Project Lead to set up processes and documentation. Once live, the role will involve managing placement requests, liaising with providers, and coordinating with service users and families on accommodation choices, start dates, and funding. Responsibilities: Participate in project activities including business process mapping, planning activities and designing communications material. Work with colleagues to define the interim brokerage model with respect to operational requirements, Commissioning requirements and LAS / ContrOCC recording requirements and document the processes required. Develop any additional forms required for placements requests or case recording purposes and test as required.
