Job Opportunity - Bookkeeping, Office Admin & Internal Sales (Maternity Cover)
Hours: Monday-Friday. Full‑time preferred, but school‑hours (9:00-3:00) can be considered to support childcare needs. Flexibility to increase hours towards full‑time as workload grows. Location: Chesterfield Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE (Pro Rata) Contract: Temporary (12 months maternity cover)
The Role
Francesca's Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a professional and adaptable individual to provide maternity cover for one year, while also supporting additional workload following a reduction in hours by a current employee.
This varied position will involve:
* Bookkeeping and accounts management
* Project management support
* General office administration, including answering calls and handling correspondence
* Assisting with internal sales and product sales alongside colleagues
* Taking on additional responsibilities as training and experience develop
Full training will be provided on bookkeeping systems, with further duties introduced gradually.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking someone who is:
* Organised, reliable, and proactive
* Experienced in bookkeeping, office administration, or internal sales - or willing to learn and take on more responsibility
* Flexible to work either full‑time Monday‑Friday or school‑hours (9am or 9.30am-3pm) depending on personal circumstances
* Keen to grow within a dynamic and supportive team
