Electrical Site Manager – Cambridge. £25.00 per hour + overtime. Van & Fuel Card Provided.
About the role
I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor currently delivering major projects in Cambridge. They are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical packages on large-scale developments. This opportunity would suit a Site Manager with experience on complex builds. A background working with Tier 1 contractors is highly desirable, however strong candidates from reputable Tier 2 contractors with relevant project experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of electrical works on site
* Managing labour, subcontractors, and materials
* Coordinating with the main contractor and other trades
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard
* Maintaining site documentation and quality control
Pay & Package
* £25.00 per hour basic rate
* 37.5 contracted basic hours per week
* Overtime paid at £37.50 per hour (time and a half) after 37.5 hours
* Typical working week of 44 hours
* Holiday pay based on 9 hours per day
* Company van and fuel card included
* If only basic hours are worked, the equivalent annual salary is £61,425, with clear opportunity to earn more through overtime beyond the standard 44-hour week
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working as an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor on similar projects
* Tier 1 contractor experience preferred but not essential
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, and relevant electrical qualifications advantageous
