Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, this role plays a key part in providing guidance across the business and maintaining high standards of safety. The successful candidate will take ownership of health and safety documentation, data, reporting, and investigation ensuring everything is accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal process. They will also keep up to date with legislation and best practice, sharing relevant updates to support a proactive approach throughout the team and wider business. The role involves conducting inspections and safety reviews, promoting consistent practices across teams, and embedding Clarions safety culture from the outset. A strong emphasis will be placed on enhancing data capture and driving continuous improvement. Daily responsibilities also include reviewing accident and incident reports to ensure investigations are proportionate and statutory reporting obligations are fulfilled. Developing guidance materials and designing and delivering training are also key aspects of the role, supporting colleagues to follow safe working processes. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate (or equivalent) and have strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation. They will be confident applying this in a repairs environment, with a solid understanding of risk management and the ability to work within established policies and procedures.
