Serves as the primary liaison between the organization and other entities in the mental health continuum (e.g., hospital, community case management, practitioners, community homes, etc.). Establishes community linkages and partnerships. Oversees operations and provides clinical support to the Behavioral Health team. Works with the CCO to establish overall direction and strategic initiatives for the organization’s Behavioral Health Services.

Salary Range: $126k/yr - $150k/yr
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Builds, sustains, and oversees the Behavioral Health Services department.
Provides clinical expertise, oversight, leadership, and programmatic consultation to the department.
Directs the day-to-day operations of the program and implements policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives.
Works as part of a community mental health team and represents the organization in the community.
Oversees quality assurance and auditing of programs and services, including program content, customer satisfaction, clinical care, documentation, and outcomes.
Coordinates the development of training, resources, and linkages for internal and community partners.
Collaborates with team members to ensure coordination between cross-functional services and activities.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local regulatory requirements, clinical guidelines, licensure, and contractual regulations.
Works with Leadership on organizational strategy and objectives.
Promotes health equity by increasing service accessibility for historically underserved groups.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution with emphasis in psychology, organizational management, or behavioral analysis (preferred).
Licensed Psychologist/Psychiatrist in California.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ Years in behavioral health.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Clinical expertise in crisis intervention, working with dual diagnosis populations, and acute psychiatric episodes.
Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
Ability to develop, lead, and manage staff and programs supporting business needs.
Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
Capacity to work with diverse, low-income populations.
Commitment to multicultural work environments.
Ability to obtain necessary clearances, maintain reliable transportation, and pass medical and drug tests.
