We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to support the peripatetic team. You will be required to confidently support the team, engaging with colleagues, and demonstrating flexibility to adapt to the complex nature of Ward 21, where nursing standards can be continually improved. If you are a strong, caring, and compassionate individual who works well under pressure and is committed to delivering quality care, please apply.
This role involves working long days, nights, and weekends.
Ward 21 operates as a peripatetic team, where staff are required to work flexibly across various departments within the trust based on operational needs. You will be fully supported during your transition with supernumerary status and tailored training to ensure confidence and competence in delivering safe, high-quality care across all assigned areas.
The post holder will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programmes. You will ensure that nursing standards within the ward/department are maintained and that all Trust, Divisional, and Ward/Department health and safety policies are adhered to. As a team player, you will support both patients and colleagues, adopting a holistic approach to nursing care.
We aim to attract the best and brightest people, supporting you from the moment you apply and throughout your career with us. Our staff are central to our success, and we believe investing in you is essential to help you reach your full potential.
