What you will do: * Be professionally accountable and work independently, prioritising and managing a complex and highly specialist caseload. * Provide highly specialist assessment, differential diagnosis, and appropriate Speech and Language Therapy intervention for adults with swallowing and communication disorders. * Offer recommendations and implement both direct and indirect management strategies tailored to individual needs. * Advise on and implement diverse communication strategies and facilitate access to communication aids. * Communicate complex condition-related information in an accessible manner to patients, MDT members, carers, and other professionals concerning the needs of your caseload. * Utilise highly developed auditory and perceptual skills in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with dysphagia and communication disorders. * Formulate and review intervention programmes to be undertaken by carers, volunteers, assistants, and students, based on assessment outcomes. * Collaborate with senior managers and other professionals to negotiate and resolve any case management issues.
