Full-time – core working hours are 8-5; however, flexibility is required as work may involve evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
Salary: £36-38k Basic + Bonus (OTE £45/55k) + Fully Expensed Company Van + Benefits.

Our client, a specialist in electrical testing services, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to join their team. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report potential hazards and compliance issues.
Their Field Test & Inspection team is central to their operations. They have created a commission structure that rewards hard work; after completing your daily minimum circuits, you will earn a premium for each additional circuit. With plenty of work available, this could be an excellent opportunity for those looking to maximize earnings. Last year, the average bonus was £12k, with higher earners earning significantly more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
* Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
* Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and safety hazards.
* Provide clear reports with recommendations for remedial actions.
* Ensure inspections comply with standards such as BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
* Communicate findings effectively with clients, offering technical advice.
* Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment as required.
* Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
* Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills.
Key Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
* City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) in Inspection and Testing.
* NVQ Level 3.
* 18th Edition wiring regulations.
* Deep knowledge of BS 7671 and other standards.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and reporting software.
* Strong communication skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Valid UK driving license.
