English Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Description: The English Tutor will be responsible for providing high-quality English language instruction to students. Duties include: Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons Assess students' language skills and provide feedback on their progress Develop tailored lesson plans based on students' needs and goals Utilise a variety of teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes Required Qualifications: Proficiency in the English language Previous experience in teaching or tutoring English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring English Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of English language principles Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet students' individual needs Organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: TEFL or CELTA certification Experience teaching English as a second language Working Conditions: This position is part-time and temporary, with flexible hours. The English Tutor will work in a classroom or online setting, depending on the needs of the students. The tutor may need to travel to different locations within Oxfordshire.
