The Role: The successful candidate will undertake a diverse caseload of criminal matters. The role includes providing representation at the police station and undertaking court work. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor who wants to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment within a supportive team. Key Responsibilities and Duties: • Providing clear, accurate and timely advice, assistance, and representation to clients across a broad spectrum of criminal matters. • Managing a busy and fast‑moving caseload while maintaining excellent client care and meeting key deadlines. • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations, including those set by the Legal Aid Agency and the Solicitors Regulation Authority. • Accurately recording time, progressing matters efficiently, and meeting agreed billing/performance targets. • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the department, offering support and contributing to a positive team culture. • Keeping your legal knowledge up to date, participating in supervision, and maintaining relevant accreditations.
