PFAS (Personal Functional Assessment Services)
Posted: 23h ago
Offer description

Overview

As Functional Assessors at PFAS we work on behalf of the DWP assessing claimants who have applied for PIP (Personal Independence Payments) benefit. We gather information and assess how each individual’s disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities by completing thorough assessments in a respectful, non-bias and reassuring manner. We use clinical knowledge and guidance to present findings to the DWP. After information is gathered, we form a report that is sent to the DWP case managers who make the decision on eligibility. The DWP will consider the range of evidence when making their decision. Our assessment report is a part of the supporting evidence."
