CNC Machinist
Quick Overview: Calling all CNC Machinists! Work with a global engineering leader in Sheffield. Set up and operate CNC lathes/mills to produce precision components.
Rotating day/night shifts, excellent pay including night shift allowance, and career growth opportunities.

About the Role
Teleios Recruitment is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join a global leader in the manufacture of high-performance metal components and engineered products. Operating from advanced facilities in Sheffield, this company supplies the energy, aerospace, and precision engineering sectors worldwide.
You’ll be part of a highly technical team responsible for machining complex components to tight tolerances using state-of-the-art CNC equipment in a clean, well-organised workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines to produce precision components.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and job route cards.
* Perform first-off and in-process inspections to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
* Adjust offsets and tooling as needed to maintain tolerances.
* Complete production paperwork and maintain full traceability.
* Follow safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Work effectively within a team, supporting both day and night shift operations.
Requirements / Person Specification
* Time-served CNC Machinist or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience with CNC turning and/or milling machines (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or similar).
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
* Confident use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, gauges).
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts.
