About the role
This is an exciting opportunity with a passion for quality improvement and project management to help deliver pathway improvement for cancer patients in our area. Working with a wide range of operational and clinical colleagues to identify pathway improvement opportunities and use QI tools and techniques to deliver and enable sustainable change. This is a fixed term role that will deliver lasting change.
Responsibilities
* Work with key stakeholders to develop and agree clear, evidence‑based pathway improvement plans for our cancer services.
* Conduct pathway analysis, MDT streamlining and best‑practice timed pathway implementation.
* Use data collection, monitoring and analysis to identify, review and prepare a range of options that support sustainable change.
* Analyse national and/or regional agreements and guidance, interpret them in relation to local cancer pathways, identify options and make recommendations to the appropriate group or board.
* Plan and organise all relevant elements of improvement projects, including reviewing the Trust Improvement Plan, identifying appropriate amendments, and analysing data from QI tools.
