We pride ourselves on our 'Customer First' approach, and to support this, we are looking for a Delivery Route Planner to join our team in Seaham.
Role Profile
Daily planning of routes for c 50 vehicles – covering the deliveries across the UK
Planning around 1100 delivery drops a day with collections
Planning to weight, cube and time
Using PTV routing application - building routes through the afternoon with customer orders
Liaising with and allocating work to a predominantly subcontractor base
Operational query handling and working with customer service teams to resolve issues
Experience
Previous Planning experience ideally with a delivery route planning application
Good geographical knowledge of the north of England
Work well under pressure, part of a wider team of planners covering all sites
Positive person with good communication and query resolution skills
Good IT skills and ability to adapt to new routing systems
Excel knowledge
