Our client, a leading global hedge fund is seeking a talented and driven Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) Trader to join its team in London. This is a unique opportunity to work at a leading multi-strat hedge fund, leveraging market expertise to generate alpha in a dynamic and evolving asset class.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute and manage trades in catastrophe bonds and related ILS instruments.
* Monitor market developments, pricing trends, and risk metrics across the ILS landscape.
* Collaborate with research, risk, and portfolio management teams to refine trading strategies.
* Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, counterparties, and market participants.
* Contribute to the evolution of proprietary trading models and analytics.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in ILS trading, with a strong focus on CAT Bonds.
* Deep understanding of insurance-linked securities, reinsurance structures, and natural catastrophe risk.
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in relevant programming or data analysis tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
