Warehouse Manager

Staffing Innovations are working with a leading engineering company that is leading the way in its field.
The Successful Warehouse Manager will:
* Oversee and provide hands-on help across all sections of the warehouse to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfilment.
* Oversee the warehouse cleanliness to maintain strict health & safety, and organisational standards.
* Ensure all warehouse operations are completed accurately and on time.
* Monitor works orders and production schedules to ensure priorities are met.
* Identify and resolve operational issues, including stock discrepancies and delays.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
* Monitor Microsoft Teams regularly and respond to incoming messages and requests.
* Serve at the Trade Counter when required
* Assist with anything else requested by senior management.
The varied role will involve managing freight contracts and evaluate third-party couriers regularly to guarantee service efficacy, transit speed, and cost-efficiency.
* Lead weekly production meetings to update staff with company updates and task allocations.
* Monitor key performance indicators and take action to improve performance.
* Monitor employee breaks to ensure compliance with company policies and operations.
* Action and officially record disciplinary procedures in line with company policy and HR guidelines.
The successful warehouse manager will have proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role together with experience of managing external vendor relationships (e.g., couriers, waste management companies) and be able to demonstrable experience handling employee relations, including 1-1s and disciplinary actions.
Monday to Friday 8.30m to 5pm
