Operational Trainer Crick, Northamptonshire | Full-time, Permanent | Night Shift (22:00-06:00) The Opportunity We're looking for a proactive and organised Operational Trainer to join our Crick site on the night shift. In this role, you'll support colleagues across our production areas by delivering high-quality training, onboarding new starters, maintaining accurate training records, and helping to build capability across the site. What You'll Be Doing Conducting capability assessments and confirming competency across production roles. Delivering hands-on training to colleagues who require additional support or development. Working closely with Area Managers, ASLs and Team Leaders to identify skills gaps and training needs. Maintaining and updating skills matrices and training records to audit-ready standards. Supporting the creation, review and delivery of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Providing refresher training and ensuring ongoing compliance with operational standards. Assisting with new process introductions, trials and continuous improvement activities. Evaluating training effectiveness and adapting plans based on colleague performance and feedback. About You Experience in training, coaching or buddying within a manufacturing or production environment. Good understanding of production processes with a passion for quality and development. Strong communication and organisational skills, with confidence working at pace. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). A 'Train the Trainer' and/or Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
